At Fuel and Tonic, we want you to be confident in your purchase. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights and our obligations when you purchase from us online.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

 

1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumers) If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You may cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive your goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing (for example by email) within the 14-day cancellation period.

 

2. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Sealed nutritional supplements or wellness products once unsealed or opened
  • Products that have been partially used or tampered with
  • Perishable goods
  • Personalised or custom-made products

This is in accordance with UK consumer law.

 

3. Returns Eligibility To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unopened and unused
  • In their original, sealed packaging
  • In a resaleable condition

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

 

4. How to Return an Item Before returning any item, you must contact our customer support team to request return authorisation.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return

Returned items sent without prior authorisation may not be accepted.

 

5. Return Shipping

  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
  • We recommend using a tracked delivery service
  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

 

6. Refunds Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

 

7. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items If you receive an item that is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged in transit
  • Incorrect

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing photographic evidence where possible.

In these cases, we will:

  • Offer a replacement or refund, and
  • Cover reasonable return shipping costs

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

 

8. Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or unsealed supplements
  • Gift cards or promotional items
  • Free items included as part of a promotion
  • Clearance or final-sale items (where clearly marked)

 

9. Subscriptions & Recurring Orders (If Applicable)

  • Subscription orders may be cancelled at any time before the next billing cycle
  • Refunds are not provided for partially fulfilled subscription periods
  • Subscription cancellations must be made via your account or by contacting customer support

 

10. Late or Missing Refunds If you have not received a refund after confirmation:

  • Check with your bank or payment provider
  • Allow processing time for funds to appear
  • Contact us if the issue persists
